Media & Marketing Assistant

  ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Media and Marketing, the Media and Marketing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the project needs of the media and marketing department.

Position Basics:
Position Status:
Full-Time, On-Site (Office hours Mon-Thu, 9:00am to 5:00pm) with availability for occasional evening and weekend events.
Compensation: Salaried
Travel: Available for event travel as needed.

General Responsibilities

Videography & Photography

  • Assist the Director of Media capturing event b-roll, photos, testimonies and interviews
  • Process b-roll footage and photos post-events and upload to Google Drive
  • Create event recap videos 
  • Produce Encounter School of Ministry class video sessions and upload to the web
  • Assist in the completion of large projects, including documentaries, promotional, and informational videos.
  • Assist in filming for promotional and training videos, including equipment setup and testing
  • Coordinate video shoots, including scheduling, location scouting, and equipment setup.

Marketing

  • Assist in market research, campaign tracking and reporting, and developing ways to improve those campaigns
  • Update and send templated emails to targeted distribution lists
  • Database research, collection, and updates
  • Assist in the distribution of marketing materials and collaborate with Encounter ambassadors to provide EM/ESM information to parishes, ministries, schools, event booths, etc.
  • Assist in marketing material inventory, and placing orders.

Web & Design

  • Use templates to develop flyers, graphics and logos for various events and satellite campuses
  • Make minor updates to existing websites using WordPress
  • Assist the Director of Media and Marketing with creating new and specialize graphics and materials based on event and ministry needs.

Basic Requirements:

  • Proficient in video and graphic editing software (Photoshop CC, Premier Pro CC)
  • Demonstrated experience in video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production processes.
  • Some experience in WordPress is preferred
  • Availability for evening and weekend events is required.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills (English language and grammar)
  • Active Catholic in good standing with the Roman Catholic Church.
  • At least a high school diploma.
  • Possessing a high level of organizational and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability in developing and cultivating personal and professional relationships.

Main Campus Year 1 Overseer

Reporting to the Main Campus Director, the Year 1 Overseer will support the overall needs of the first year students on Main Campus. This will include guiding the Main Campus Year 1 students through their first year of the Encounter School, teaching sessions when requested, supporting students in their activations, helping to oversee Year 1 practicums, availability to meet with students before and after class as needed, and to create an environment conducive for learning and growth in the Holy Spirit.

This position can lead to consideration for full time employment.

Reporting to the Director of Administration, the ESM Enrollment Specialist will assist in the application and student onboarding process of the Encounter School of Ministry.

EM Tech Operator

Position Summary:
To create an efficient and high-quality production through overseeing the sound, lighting, video production, and live streaming needs of Encounter School classes and Encounter Ministries events. This can include weekly ESM Class Worship/Teachings, Monthly Transformation Nights, any other EM Events held at St. Patrick’s.

This role can lead to greater employment opportunities with Encounter Ministries.
