I have attended all of the Encounter Conferences. During the first conference I experienced a miraculous healing. I had just been diagnosed with degenerative spine disease about 2 months before the conference. The team began demonstrating words of knowledge. Many spinal related conditions were being said, but not “degenerative spine”. I remember praying, “Lord, I believe in you, but if you want me to be healed you’re going to need to be specific.” No sooner than I prayed that prayer did I hear Patrick say “Erin, L4-L5”. Since the conference, my husband and I have experienced a hunger for more of God. We now have a deeper prayer life, and we pray daily for more and more of the Holy Spirit. We also feel a real calling to pray with people for healing. We long for others to encounter Christ and to share what we have received. Even this week my husband was waiting for lab work in the hospital and prayed for the other patients next to him. Praise God! More than that, I can only say something really......

Many that I work with in Unbound ministry have commented on how much I have changed since the conference. They have noticed a greater zeal and lack of hesitation in my giving personal testimony to what the Lord is doing in my life. I guess you would say a holy boldness. I have also noticed an increase in the gifts of discernment, wisdom, and knowledge. Since the Encounter Conference, in prayer I am being filled with Divine Love and Power everyday. I am now connected to the Divine power source. I see more movement in the gifts of deliverance, physical healing, and words of knowledge. I know I am being filled up to release it. I have also been encountering people in my everyday walk that need prayer for physical healing. When we had benediction at the conference, and the priest passed our bleacher, he turned the monstrance toward us and the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist just grabbed me and I felt that he was looking right at me to assure me he was always with me and watching over me. It was a powerful encounter with Jesus. I felt weak and sat down and wept in thanksgiving to Jesus for this encounter. Jesus was truly there and wanted me to be there to meet him in a very personal way.......

The overall fruit from the conference has been an ever-increasing faith and an accompanying boldness to step out in mission. I walked away with a greater anointing, equipped for my parish ministries as well as everyday encounters. In conjunction with attending the Encounter School of Ministry, my growth in the spiritual gifts has been accelerating rapidly. I’m praying with people weekly and observing partial or complete healing by the Spirit on a frequent basis. The overall fruit of the conference for me has been an increased confidence to step out in faith in response to the promptings of the Spirit. As a seminarian on pastoral year, I am constantly encountering individuals in desperate need of God’s love and healing. While at Encounter 2020 our dear son reported that he knew God loved him. It was after the Eucharistic Procession held at Kid’s Track. I asked him if he felt anything when he touched Jesus in the monstrance as many other children were doing. He lit up and said, “I could feel heat running through my whole body, Mom. At the Encounter Conference, Fr. Mathias felt that God was leading him to call up someone who had lost their faith to come forward to be prayed with. I looked at my husband and told him he needed to go up and receive prayer. He received prayer, felt nothing, and sat back down.
