Heart-rending, eye-opening, AMAZING!

My prayer before coming to the Encounter Conference was, “Lord, let my preconceived impressions and judgments of ‘charismatics’ not get in the way of what You want to do in my soul.” The change didn’t happen on-site, but the seeds were planted, and the Lord has since shown me the beauty of the charisms of the Holy Spirit and freed me from the chain connected to never receiving the gift of tongues even though I had attended multiple Life In the Spirit Seminars. He revealed clearly the lie of ‘comparison’ that He speaks to each of us uniquely. I would attend again in a heartbeat. Already planning for next year God willing.
