The word “Intercede” comes from the Latin “inter” which means “between,” and “ced” which means “go.” Literally “intercede” means “go between.” Intercessors are those who are “go betweens” between the Lord and his people.
The Father loves it when we, his children, come to him and ask him to work on our behalf.
We acknowledge that there is no greater foundation for all ministry we undertake than storming heaven in humble and child-like intercession. God’s heart is moved to act when his people cry out to him. The Father loves it when we, his children, come to him and ask him to work on our behalf.
BECOME an intercessor
An Encounter Intercessor is someone who is committed to the intercession of Encounter Ministries and the missions God calls us into whether foreign or domestic. Approximately each month our Intercessor Coordinator emails our Encounter Intercessors with the prayer needs of the ministry. We also acknowledge that God has often revealed prophetic insight and revelation to our intercessors and we ask our intercessors to communicate any prophetic revelation to our Intercessor Coordinator that will be communicated to the Encounter leadership.

I would like to request that on Feb. 3rd Fr. Gonyeau lay hands on and pray over my husband Walt at the St. Michael's Church in Cary, NC at the Healing Mass which he will be celebrating. My husband has just been diagnosed with the incurable, autoimmune disease of Myasthenia Gravis. As this disease progresses, it could eventually weaken all of his muscles his body including his ability to breath. We have faith in the Lord to help Walt if this is God's will.

Please pray for my brother Bob who fell 20 feet from scaffolding on a building site, and sustained multiple internal and external injuries. He was airlifted to a Level 1 Trauma Center is currently on a ventilator with multiple broken bones in the face and abdomen as well as lacerations of the liver and brain bleeding. May God heal his body and especially fully restore brain function, and comfort and guide his family as they process and deal with his injuries and plan his future care.

Hello, I am a 23-year-old male and I am 5'3 (160 cm). I have stunted growth due to malnutrition, chronic diarrhea in my growing years (better now), and complete lack of physical activity. I had an x-ray done and all my bones growth plates have fused which means that it's impossible for me to grow anymore (not even a single millimeter). And obviously, I am too old now to grow again naturally. My whole body is abnormally small and disproportionate and I have bow legs. I have been very depressed the past five years because of my height. I searched everywhere I could for a single documented case of someone growing taller miraculously just for the sake of growing but I haven't found anything. I did find claims of one leg growing out to fix a limp or leg length discrepancy but that's not what I am praying for. Praying to grow taller is a very very common prayer request, so to find that it's unprecedented led me to the conclusion that God doesn't answer this type of miracle for whatever reason.
My question is this: may God actually make me grow taller miraculously if I persist in prayer? or should I give up since it's futile to even try because God has never made anyone grow taller miraculously?
My whole life has been ruined because of this and a few inches taller would change my life.
