Our 2-day Weekend Schools are designed to train your parish or community in their kingdom identity, hearing God’s voice and the prophetic Gifts of the Holy Spirit, and prayer for healing. These events include impactful sessions, practical tools, activations, Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and more.

General Schedule:
Friday evening through Saturday evening with a break for optional normally scheduled Vigil Mass and dinner. School’s of Healing include a Healing Service at the event finale.
All weekend schools pull from the Encounter School of Ministry and the richness of our Catholic heritage, in conformity with Catholic teaching and directives of the local bishop. The training includes inspirational content for renewal of the mind, as well as practical tools and testimonies.

Hosting Parish Cost
There is no cost to the hosting parish to bring in speakers for the event. We only ask the parishes hosting to provide general hosting and logistical needs, including event space, as they are able.
Expectations of Hosting Parish:
MATERIALS: The host must provide name badges for participants, print copies of the participant handouts and coordinate the ability to project slides provided to you by Encounter Ministries.
EVENT SET-UP: The host must oversee the location needs for the weekend schools and Saturday night healing service (School of Healing only), and ensure sufficient sound and projector needs are met at the location for both the Weekend School and healing service (if applicable).
WORSHIP MUSIC – The host must provide a local contemporary praise and worship leader.
PROMOTION – Effectively spread the word and promote awareness of the Encounter Weekend School of Ministry in your region. Encounter Ministries will provide a web page for your event, a custom flyer and facebook event page
*MEALS: Food is not typically provided for participants. If the host would like to provide meals, they may do so and participants may select meals as at an additional cost during registration.
Tickets & Registration
Each participant will have to pay a registration fee in advance on the Encounter website. This helps cover speaker and travel costs. Attendance varies by region. We have seen as few as 100 and as many as 250 participants.

Jesus never proclaimed the Gospel without demonstrating it in power and love. Jesus’ healing ministry is at the heart of His Gospel of power and he expects his disciples to minister his healing on the earth (cf Mt 16:18-19). This class provides a foundation for partnering with the Holy Spirit to bring healing to the world around us. Healing is Jesus’ idea. It was essential to the effective proclamation of the Gospel during Jesus’ ministry and we are convinced it is one of the missing components to the effective New Evangelization of our nation. teaching to live out of our baptism as beloved children & ministering out of our anointing as priest, prophet, and king.
Developed to help you grow in your identity as a son or daughter of God and highlighting some of the most transformational elements of the Encounter School of Ministry: “Identity and Transformation” quarter. This school is geared to renew your mind, increase your intimacy with the Father, and prepare you to minister out of your supernatural inheritance in Christ! Drawing from the rich tradition of Catholic teaching and Sacred Scripture, transformative content, and uplifting culture will prepare you to walk with Jesus under an open heaven.

school of prophetic ministry
Learning to hear God’s voice & ministering from His heart.
Our goal is to grow in our relationship with God and strive to become more aware of the way he speaks to us for our own sake. From that foundation, we are able to move in the prophetic gifts of the Holy Spirit which God enables us to hear His voice in different ways for the world around us. Learn a prophetic process which will help you to call on the Holy Spirit, know God’s heart for you and your neighbor, and discern what is of God. Practicing the gift of prophecy is essential to grow in ease and accuracy.
